District H Goals for 2009 - 2010

Remember
These are goals to keep our clubs strong and retain
our Lions members to serve our Communities.

Retention

Focus on our "1" true resource, our Lions Members - reduce number of dropped members resigned in good standing by 50% June 2010.


Orientation Manuals in at least the ZC's home clubs by Spring Conference 2010. If their club already has one, then one club in their Zone.

Membership

Net member growth of +14 (factor in transfers, deceased, drops, etc.


Refocusing on recruiting and welcoming ALL those who wish to serve as Lions.

* HOW - publish in all DG and ZC bulletins
* ALSO - District H Webpage
* CLUBS - in club bulletins


Bonus in our growth - 85 new Lions under 50 years of age.
(past two years this has been achieved)

Extension

"1" new Cyber (Special Intgerest) Lions Club in South Surrey, BC Eye Surgeons


"1" new Hispanic Lions Club in Mt. Vernon, WA Business People from Mt. Vernon, Burlington and Sedro Wooley, WA.

Communication

MMR - 100% reports to MD19 and LCI - 25th monthly deadline


Spring Conference - July 1st campaign begins


Leadership 101 - 30 District H Lions completed training


NW Lions Leadership Institute - 12 District H Lions graduate

Recognition

District Lions of the Year - 7 Zones participate, "1" Lion chosen


Lion Secretaries - MD 19 Secretaries Excellence Award


Lion Presidents - LCI Presidents Excellence Award


Zone Chairpersons - "7" Zone Chairpersons Excellence Awards
(MD19) PLUS NEW - LCI Zone Chairperson Excellence Award


All Lions - encourage clubs to recognize their members, thank you, certificates and beyond (MJF; JBS; etc)
