Belinda came to Canada with her family in 1981. She studied at B.C.I.T. and she worked for five years with the Vancouver School Board Administration Department. Aspiring to achieve something higher, she changed her career path and became an Independent Financial Advisor in 2001.

Belinda is a hard-working and dedicated single mom. Her 16-year-old daughter shares a common passion of community service by volunteering at school and community projects.

Belinda has been involved with community volunteering for more than 25 years. Activities include:

Chinese Delegate of Federal Party of Tri-City Riding,

In March 2008, her hard work was recognized by the Chinese Women Association of Vancouver as a recipient of the “Vancouver’s 2007 Outstanding Chinese Women Award”. Her community contribution has also been acknowledged by the Federal Government of Canada and a certificate of Recognition was presented by the Member of Parliament, Vancouver South Riding.

In 2004, Belinda extended her volunteering from local organizations to an international organization - Lions Club International. She served her home club “Richmond Chinatown Lions Club” as Lion Tamer. In 2005-2007, she serviced as Vice President, in 2007-2008 as Club President.

She is an active member of the Richmond Lions Club and is a recipient of:
